I'm not sure how to start this other than to say hello and hope that by hearing from me, at least for some of you, has brought back memories similar to ones I have recalled by seeing your names and pictures.  My wife Sherry and I have been married for 31 years and live in Draper, Utah which is 20 minutes south of Salt Lake City.  We have been here for 8 years and previous to that lived in up state New York for 12.  Previous to New York we lived in Edinburgh Scotland and Galway Ireland.  We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, all of whom live in the west.  If any of you enjoy skiing, backpacking, fly fishing etc, and want to visit you are most welcome.  Enjoy the reunion.  All the best, Jeff Burger (Merritt Island class of 1968).  PS  If Chuck Ellison is out there let him know that one of my best friends is Vernon Law-only Chuck would know the significance of that statement-GO REDS!!!

Hello All,

Most of you will not remember me. I went to Creel Elementary, 1st grade, then moved to Ruth Henager, I do not remember the teacher's name for 2nd grade, then Ms Reed's Class 3rd grade class and then the chaos,,,,the AIRPORT SCHOOL, any one remember that mess?  From there to University Park Elementry and the teacher with the pepper can, then Southwest Jr High.  In 9th I was up rooted to Eau Gallie and had to go to Eau Gallie High.  I was there 9 and 10th, then back to Melbourne and Mel-High for my Jr year.  I lost contact with so many of you by then.  My step father was a commercial fisherman and kept me out of school so much working with fish nets at night.  I was moved to Ohio then forced to leave home, moved down to N Carolina found a job finished 12th and graduated with a bunch of folks I did not know.  I did not even bother to go to the graduation.  While I feel a part of the class I also know I am just a pea floating in the middle of a large pond no one probably remembers.  I just wanted to touch base and to those of you who do remember, or would care to write PLEASE feel free to write.  If you look for me in the year book, well they goofed, I am in the Sophmore  bunch, should have been in the Jr. group.

Kenney O'Keefe, if you read my note please write.  I would love to hook up again sometime.  Willie Commings, I do hope you are doing well.  Barbara Wimpy,,,,PlLEASE contact me, I have something to return to you.   Shelda Dunn and Richard Dunn you are the best !  I have missed you both so much !

Hello to all of you who may or may not remember be and I pray each and every one of you are doing GREAT !

Rick

Hello, Everyone. I can't believe it has been 40 years...weren't we state champs just last year? After Mel Hi, I went to Univ. of South Carolina and majored in Journalism, (was manager for the baseball team there for four years), worked at papers in GA, VA, SC and Tennessee before I became director of public information at Bryan College in Dayton, TN, 17 years ago. I have been married to Susan (a classmate of my sister, Alice) for 31 years; we have two daughters -- both of whom are in graduate school now -- and a son who will be a junior at Bryan this year. I've only been back to Melbourne once since 1976, and was looking forward to this reunion, but, unfortunately will not be able to attend. Maybe next time. Blessings,
Tom

I hope to attend .. schedule permitting. Great website reunion committee.  Wonderful seeing faces of our youth and snip-its of our present. Husband Ric and I have been together since '75 & married since '86. We met in the entertainment /music industry. Owned an Entertainment Decoration Balloon business in Atlanta and Orlando [for those of you who attended the last reunion, we created the balloon decor for our party] Sold the business at its peak. Since then Ric has developed another company and I've been in the wine business / broker for the last seven years. With that comes travel, meeting and engaging people, culture and the arts. Right up my alley for a young 50 something... which we all are!

I toast you all if I can't make it and if I do, we'll pop a few corks together and toast to each others HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND PROSPERITY!

Many blessings to you all.
Roxanne

PS Dale Carter and I were voted Class Flirts of '68. At the last reunion, we both agreed we we thought we were being genuinely friendly not flirtatious.

Graduated from USF in 1972, married my college sweetheart and headed west. We have two sons Matt and Scott who work with me in our real estate business. If you're out this way give me a call. Greetings one and all:  Quick catch-up of the last 40 years...went to BJC (before BCC), then Gatorland.  Since getting out of HS was a bit of challenge, some will be surprised that I even have a couple masters degrees as well.  Married Julie (also a Gator) in '72 and after graduation we launched an adventurous life for 29 years with the US Army and the usual nomadic lifestyle.  Loved it all!  Have decided to keep Julie after 36 years because it's just to hard to break in a new partner.  We have one daughter, Kelly, who lives in Asheville, NC with husband Jeff and 5 year old Nicholas.  We live just south of DC in Woodbridge, VA where I now work for a Defense Contractor.  Life is wonderful as long as I keep my golf score under 83.

Just found about the upcoming reunion and wish so much I could be there.  Unfourtnately, it looks like I probably won't have the opportunity to attend.
I currently live in Mauldin, SC (near Greenville).
I have two grown children; a daughter named Amy, who is the Mother of two children ages 16 and 12, and a son named Eric who is the Dad of a 4 mo old.
Hope all of you who plan to attend the reunion have a wonderful time reminiscing about the times we all shared 40 years ago. Hopefully, I'll see everyone next time.

Hi everyone!  I've lived in Virginia for the last 33 years working for Dominion - Virginia Power.  I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1973 where I met Cindy.  We have been married for 35 years and currently live in Richmond.  We have two "boys".  Brian lives in Arlington, VA and Jared is living in Charlottesville, VA but preparing to move to Seattle, Washington to work on his Ph. D. in Urban Planning.  We can see retirement coming in the next few years and are looking forward to moving to a smaller town with some local character.

We like to travel and have been to England, Greece (the islands), Egypt and Italy.  I began wood carving about seven years ago and have taken several drawing classes and clay sculpture classes.  Cindy and I also like to make stained glass items.  We shouldn’t have any problem keeping ourselves entertained in retirement.

Send me a email if you get a chance.

Hello everyone!   I just moved back to Melbourne after 26 years.   Our business relocations took us from Melbourne to LA, to Boston and then Boca Raton where we lived for the past 18 years.   My husband (33 years)  is a retired engineer and I just retired from Siemens Telecommunications in Boca where I was a financial analyst for the past 17 years.   I am not sure if the retirement will last, but we are happy to be back in Melbourne with my family.  Our daughter Joy, is married in Jacksonville working for University of FL, Jacksonville Heathcare.

Hello Classmates!  Hard to believe its been 40 years since we had all that fun at Mel Hi.  Pensacola, FL has been my home, and the location of my legal practice, for 30 years.  I moved here in 1978 after graduating from Florida State University College of Law (GO NOLES!).   I have two grown children, Cecily and John.  They both live in the Atlanta area.  I have 2 grandchildren, Kiah (16) and Johnny Mac (10).  My husband Joe and I love to travel in our spare time.  We also enjoy attending the theater which makes New York and the bright lights of Broadway  a favorite destination.   Have a great reunion!

Wow, how things change in 40 years. I will not be able to make the reunion, however, it's fun to hear about what everyone is doing.

A few years ago, I left the corporate world to start my own investment company. I have to say I'm still learning every day and I like my boss!

I've been married to Curt, a CFO, for 11 years. My only child, Keri, is a Title One teacher and she is married with 3 children. I never thought I would say this but, "It's a Wonderful Life"

Hello Everyone,  I have been out of touch for 40 years -- takes your breath away.  I am currently teaching in the Department of Dance at Texas Woman's Univerisity in Denton, Texas.  I owe my life in this amazing field to Don Steele and Mel Hi.  I worked in Poland for about 15 years during the 80's and 90's, taught mostly in Madison, Wisconsin, and am now directing a doctoral program.  Wonders will never cease.  I wish you all the best during this reunion!

It's hard to believe that 40 years have gone by, one thing that we all learn with age is that life is really short and we need to make the most of it!!  I hope to be at the reunion if we can and wish everybody a great time. If anybody is in the Kingston area let me know and I will give you the grand tour of our community and it's five traffic light's.

Hello everyone. This is the best website and a really great idea for the 40th reunion committee. Good luck with it!
I'm still in Melbourne. Was away for 10 years (1969 to 1979) with first marriage. Went to live in Ankara, Turkey and California.  Married to John going on 29 years. We have 4 children, all grown up now, and 3-1/2 grandchildren. Our son Chris and wife Jennie are expecting their #2 this April.  I work at BCC (Melbourne Campus)and Home Depot, north Melbourne store. John and I have our house up for sale and when it sells we are moving to Eutawville, South Carolina.  Can you all believe we're all almost 60 years old? What the hell happened?  I remember 18! :)

Hello,  It's great to read everyone's story.  I'm really looking forward to seeing classmates at the reunion.

My husband, Mike, and I live in Milton, Florida, near Pensacola.  I teach (no surprise there!) English and Spanish at Milton High School.  We have three grown sons, all University of Florida grads --Go Gators!--and three grandchildren.  Two of our sons, their wives and all three grandchildren live here in Milton.  Life doesn't get much better than that!

Mike and I love to travel.  We've particularly enjoyed recent trips to Egypt, and the Galapagos Islands off Ecuador.  Our hobbies all involve being outdoors--biking, hiking, and SCUBA diving, primarily.

I'd love to hear from any of you!  My e-mail address is mwsanbo@aol.com
